How to install your eSIM.
Two minutes, one QR code. Do it at home on Wi-Fi — your days don't start until you land.
1Open your confirmation emailYour QR code arrives seconds after purchase. Open it on another screen — or a printout — so you can scan it with your phone.
2Settings → Mobile Data → Add eSIMOn iOS 17+ choose "Use QR Code". Your camera opens straight away.
3Scan the QR codePoint at the code and iOS installs your holiday plan in a few seconds. Label it something like "Holiday data".
4Leave it off until you landKeep the new line switched off at home. Your home SIM stays as it is for calls and WhatsApp.
5Switch on at arrivalTurn the line on, set it as your data line, and make sure data roaming is on for it (that's normal for eSIMs — no fees). Online before baggage claim.

2Settings → Connections → SIM managerTap "Add eSIM", then "Scan QR code from service provider".
3Scan the QR codeOne scan and your plan installs. Give it a name so it's easy to spot next to your home SIM.
4Keep it off until you landLeave the new eSIM disabled at home — your days only start when it first connects abroad.
5Switch on at arrivalSIM manager → enable the eSIM → set it for mobile data, and turn data roaming on for that line. Done.

5Switch on at arrivalEnable the eSIM, choose it for mobile data, and switch data roaming on for it. You're connected.

2Find the eSIM menuUsually Settings → Network / Connections → SIM. Look for "Add eSIM" or "Download a SIM instead".
3Scan or pasteScan the QR, or choose manual entry and paste the SM-DP+ address and activation code from the email.
4Keep it off until you landDays start at first connection abroad, so installing early costs nothing.
5Switch on at arrivalEnable the line, set it as data, turn on data roaming for it. If anything looks different on your model, support can walk you through.

No camera? Manual install.
Your confirmation email also includes an SM-DP+ address and activation code. Choose “Enter details manually” on the same settings screen and paste them in — same result, no scanning.
Landed with no signal?
1 — Check the eSIM line is on and set as your data line. 2 — Make sure data roaming is onfor that line (it's how eSIMs work; no fees apply). 3 — Toggle aeroplane mode. 4 — Restart. Still stuck? We reply in under 2 hours.
